Kids, Water, Sand and Sky

I love this picture - it captures the relaxed and communal mood of the day, and the beauty of the scenery. Despite the "Contest," there was no pressure to do anything, and some kids would just wander off for a while. The other staff and I all remarked on how we couldn't believe we were in the Arctic. (Some of us also wished that we had some lounge chairs, some tunes and a few frosty malt beverages.)
