Arctic Mark in Stanley Park

I took these six shots in quick succession on my first walk up the high hills which frame the town. The darkness here is merely the result of heavy cloud cover, because the sun had not yet begun to sink below the horizon. While I just hung a blanket over my bedroom curtains in order to sleep, it was a bit odd seeing and hearing little kids out riding bikes and playing basketball outside the school in bright sunshine at 3:30 a.m.
