Approaching Inuvik

This was the first view out the First Air jet window that really made me feel I had entered the north. I had flown from Toronto to Edmonton, then to Inuvik with a brief stop in Yellowknife. I met my roommate, Aaron, on this second leg of our trip. I had guessed (correctly) that each of the three stages of our trip would involve a progressively smaller airplane.
