Three Newbies at School

Katie, Lambert and Aaron in front of Helen Kalvak Elihakvik School. (Elihakvik means "place of learning" in Inuinnaqtun, which is the language of the Inuvialuit, the Western Arctic Inuit people.) Note the paint job in progress on the front of the school. My informal survey results are that no-one likes the white. Maybe it's intended as camouflage during the winter. Actually, it's primer, and the job remains unfinished due to "logistical difficulties." However, the school itself is quite well furnished and modern, with a full gym, tech shop, and library/computer lab.
