To Freeze or Not To Freeze, That is the Question

When we finally arrived in Inuvik, the airport building was almost deserted, and we had to wait about a half hour for the shuttle to the hotel, so I wandered around looking for something even remotely interesting or amusing to keep myself entertained, and what did I find but these stickers at the Aklak Air counter. My first thought was: my god, these two rolls of stickers are too close together!! What would happen if a harried passenger or clerk grabbed the wrong sticker for the wrong box?? Visions (actually, not visions so much as imagined smells) of rotting caribou steaks or arctic char fillets (or conversely, frozen broccoli or strawberries) filled my head, and I reeled back from the counter, crying out to myself: "The horror! The horror!" In some ways, the most horrifying aspect of those scenarios would be trying to determine who was "resposible" for the ruined food.
