Arctic Mark in Stanley Park

I'd been told to expect literally 24 hours of darkness at this time of year, so I've been pleasantly surprised to discover that it's more like 20-22, with a small "window" of light from about 12 noon until around 2 pm, with the amount of light depending on weather conditions. What we get is a couple of hours of sunrise/sunset, which can be quite beautiful, as it surely was on this lovely Sunday afternoon, a week before Christmas.
