Puppet Family Portrait
To begin my "Holman Art & Crafts" series, I thought I'd present the puppets that I sent to my niece, Tia, for her third birthday, which takes place tomorrow (Hallowe'en). These were all made by a local artisan, and sold through the Holman Gallery/Gift Shop. The snowy owl isn't actually a puppet, but doesn't it look so cute with the "mom" and "pop"? Everyone should have a snowy owl for a pet. Around here, though, they’re seen as a bit of a menace, due to their tendency to land on hydro poles and wires, causing temporary power blackouts.
