Hello and Goodbye, Kitchen Utensil Made of Gold!
Most people would probably have put this picture first in their "Yellowknife Series." But, as you've no doubt noticed by now, I'm not most people. (Most people would also probably not have devoted so much attention to the town dump in a city known for its scenic vistas.) The plane up on the hill is the first plane to land at the North Pole, so Vern informed me. And thus concludes my first trip to Couteau Jaune: truly a great place to visit, and I'd also like to live there someday, if only to take full and regular advantage of all the wonders that the dump has to offer. Oh yeah, and to enjoy the culture, and natural beauty, and interesting people, and all that other good stuff.
