These next few shots were taken from the Bush Pilots' Monument, which is the highest vantage point from which you can see the whole town of Yellowknife, as well as the islands nearby on Great Slave Lake. The wind was howling with stinging snow up here, but there's no better place for photo-hungry tourists.
