I guess the designers of the Yellowknife airport decided to cram as many Arctic icons into as small a space as possible. While waiting for your bags, you can admire this giant diorama of a polar bear, seals and ice, with the inukshuk in the background. All that's missing is an Inuit figure with dogsled and igloo (and skidoo and quad and satellite dish and...)
I also found out from Adam that there's a Holman angle to this display. Apparently, the seals were caught by a local hunter.
