I've always loved those lines from Bruce Cockburn's song, and I think of them whenever I see sunlight reflected off of water. I stepped out of my apartment this Thanksgiving Monday afternoon to see the beautiful sight of sparkling sunlight and steam rising off of the water in the bay. And not for the first time since arriving here, I found myself giving silent thanks for such sublime sights...
