Arctic Mark's Photo Gallery (vol. 32 - April 2008)
This album features photos I took on a day-trip with Bryn and other members of her artists' collective on Sunday, April 20, to the town of La Conner in the Skagit Valley area of Washington State. Every year at this time, the Skagit Valley has a Tulip Festival to celebrate the arrival of spring. Initially I wasn't all that excited about the idea of a road trip to go look at flowers, but I have to admit I was really impressed with the beauty of the region, and the endless tulip fields ablaze with a stunning palette of colours. We all had a very enjoyable day indeed, out in the Washington countryside, tiptoeing through the tulips together....
