Arctic Mark's Photo Gallery (vol. 31 - March 2008)
This album features many, many photos from the fantabulous road trip which Bryn and I took over Spring Break. We flew to Las Vegas, only long enough to rent a car there, and then headed west into southern Utah, then down into Arizona through Hopi and Navajo country, circling back to Las Vegas via the Hoover Dam and Lake Meade at the end of 10 fantastic days.
You'll notice a plethora of landscape photos in this gallery, because everywhere we went, we were constantly amazed at the spectacular natural beauty of this part of the U.S. Southwest.
As an interesting side note, on Saturday, April 12, the Globe & Mail's Travel section featured a front-page article about the exact region that we had just travelled through! I guess our "hidden secret" won't be hidden for much longer...
