This photo album represents the first full month of this new post-Arctic phase of my life in Vancouver, B.C. It seemed fitting to put this photo on the cover, which shows a sunset view of False Creek in Burrard Inlet, with the controversial public art sculpture, "Gateway to the Northwest Passage" in the foreground. Reminders of the north are everywhere, apparently. (More on this photo in the photo commentary inside, and perhaps also in an upcoming post.)
You may notice that there are noticeably less photos than in most of the 24 previous Arctic Photo Galleries, and as explanation for this intolerable shirking of my blog duties I can only say, "whoa, dude(ette), like, chillax a little, why don't you? Like, no worries, okay? More totally awesome pix are totally on the way, so stay stoked, all right?! In the meantime, check out these gnarly photos from my Vangroovy summer!!"
