March Break Fun in the Skydome

This was the view from the restaurant at the Renaissance Hotel, where I stayed the night before the taping of "Test The Nation." As you can see here, the hotel is attached to the Skydome (sorry, the "Rogers Dome" or whatever it's called now), and there was a fairground set up for the kiddies during March Break. It was quite surreal to arrive after a 16-hour journey from Ulukhaktok to Toronto and sit eating breakfast while gazing at an indoor amusement park in a stadium before going up to my room to crash for a few hours before venturing out to that other amusement park known as the Eaton Centre.
