The Ice Cometh (A Bit Late), Man!
Coming home for lunch today (Mon., Oct. 30), I was once again struck by the stunning play of light, cloud and water out over Queen's Bay, so I walked down to the beach to snap a few photos before heading home. And wouldn't you know it - I happened to catch the bay in its initial freezing over stage, at the eastern edge this year, unlike last year's beginning at the western edge (see photo with similar horrible punning title in last October's Gallery).
